Using the micro bit, I created projects varying from simple dice to more complex games. because I thought they would be rad.
During this process, I learned how to make games using the micro bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made my own projects from my own ideas instead of just making the tutorial projects.
A challenge I overcame on this project was recording the micro bit, it was hard because my projects needed two hands. I was able to do it by balancing it on my chin.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the projects. The reason why I would change it is because some of them were not as good as others.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Computer Programming because I used a basic form of code to make the projects.
