Using scratch code designer, I created two projects one is a thing about why the environment is cool, and the other is why you should wear sunscreen with a zebra because these seemed like fun things to do. The first one I did was on a bear who was telling you to help the environment he also changes colors. The second thing I made was about a zebra and a bat talking until the zebra gets sunburn and the bat tells him to where sunscreen. That is what I designed during this project.
During this process, I learned how to change skins on scratch. I learned this because both the bear and zebra change skins. I also learned how to make characters glide very quick. I learned this because at the end of the sunscreen psa he runs away.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because I posted the helpful psa to the internet. My project also connects to empowered learner because I set the goal that I can finish these projects. That is what my project connects to.
A challenge I overcame on this project was My project did not save the first time. I was able to do it by working a lot harder and faster. One other problem I had was that some of my code did not work immediately. I fixed this by changing up my idea so it would work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I did my project one. The reason why I would change it is because if i did the same thing again it would get repetitive. If i was able to this project again one other thing I would change is what my sprites did. I would change this because I think what some of sprites did was cool but I think its okay like the bear changing colors.

My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in animation and game coding. The reason my project connects to animation is because I animated the characters to talk and walk. The reason my project connects to game coding is because I coded stuff to happen.
