7P5 3D Design

   Reflection

• Using the website Tinker cad, I created a 3D print of an earbud case. My earbuds are always on the floor and tangled. I also cannot find them half of the time. with the earbud case, I will be able to find them sooner and I wont have to untangle them every time I want to use them. 

• During this process, I learned how to make a 3D print how I want it to look. This project also refreshed my brain on how to make a 3D print because I totally forgot how to make them. I also learned how to change the size on the grid. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed everything I wanted the case to have and I made it. I also looked up designs for references until I figured out what I wanted to make. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make the print. I was able to do it by using Tinkercad and google to find some ideas and finally realize that my earbuds that are always on the floor and tangled. Another challenge I overcame was trying to figure out some ideas to solve a problem. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the project piece. The reason why I would change it is because my problem with tangled and lost earbuds would be fixed and have no purpose of needing another case. I would also not want to make another case because I don't like repeating myself.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Civil Engineers, Computer Hardware Engineers, Drafters, and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologists and Technicians.
