7P4- Augmented Reality

Reflection

• Using my assigned computer and iPad, I created a version of "The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf" because I used to love the story when I was little. I am also very familiar with the story so it only made sense to make my merge cube on something I was familiar with. It was easy to plan out what I wanted it to look like and make the cube 

• During this process, I learned how to make a Merge-cube and connect things to it to make a really cool Augmented reality. Augmented Reality means to take something from a digital world and bring it into real life. I had no idea how to do any of this before I had to do this assignment. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I designed something and then I created it. It also ties to innovative designer because I made something for others to see and be entertained by it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to attach things to my cube. I was able to do it by asking a few people on how to do it and eventually figured it out. I also used YouTube.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my story line. The reason why I would change it is because It would be really boring to make the same thing over and over again. I would also change the characters. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming  CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Programmer Analyst, Programming Engineer, and Computer Programming Instructor.
