I worked on my VR world after deciding which project to make.

I started adding objects for the storyline in my VR world.
Day:3 I added more objects to my world.

I started to code my shark and submarine for the shark-attack scene.

I looked at my work with the headset and created a button to start the code.

I worked on my code and added a little more detail to my world.

The cospaces software, Imovie app, and VR headset.
What is your plan to create in this project?
An underwater adventure game.
What unique qualities will your project have?
An underwater talking unicorn.
Using the cospaces software, I created an underwater adventure game because I am a scuba diver and I enjoy the underwater world. I find it to facilitate my imagination. I was also inspired to add the unicorn by the unicorn shake I had at an ice cream shop the other day.
During this process, I learned that trial and error is the best way to figure out how far to make objects go move. I also learned that VR headsets sometimes use a phone or Ipod to display the images. In addition I learned how to code something so that when you click on it a reaction happens.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because I posted everything to my website. It also ties to Digital citizen because I did not use copyrighted images on the project. In addition it ties to Creative communicator because I used an underwater talking unicorn to communicate if you got the question right or not.
A challenge I overcame on this project was placing the crabs on the rock just right. I was able to do it by adjusting over and over again until I finally got them where I wanted them. Another challenge I overcame was getting my camera attached to my submarine. I was able to do it by asking my friend to show me where the button was.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change which project I did. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to do the chef game but it would have taken to much time. Another thing I would change is the length of my game. I would change it because I wanted to add a part where you save a baby but ran out of time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program because it consists of digital multimedia. I would not take the Digital Multimedia CTE program.
My project connects to careers in being a welding instructor because they teach people to weld using VR headsets so it is more cost efficient. The average for a welding instructor in the 50th percentile is $58,288 a year. I would not become a welding instructor because I want a higher salary than that.
