What materials will you need for your project?

The cospace software, the merge cube, and the imovie app

What is your plan to create in this project?

I will create a girl named sage falling in love with a crab then being attacked during their wedding.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will have a unique storyline with some reference to hawaiian culture and religion.

• Using the merge cube, the cospaces editor, and the Imovie app, I created A six sided story of a girl getting married to a crab then being eaten and brought to the afterlife, because I thought it would be a unique project with some humorous aspects combining Hawaiian religion and American values. Also, I thought this project fit the criteria for this assignment well enough to help me attain an adequate grade. In addition this project was the most amusing to viewers eyes in my opinion.

• During this process, I learned what augmented reality was and how it works.I also learned how the cospaces software works and how to make things on it. In addition I learned about the merge cube and how to use the cospaces app to make my design come to life.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I did not put copyrighted images I don't have permission to use on this assignment. It also ties to Global collaborator because I posted everything to my website for the world to see. My project also ties to Creative Communicator because I used my merge cube to show the world a story.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the merge cube online to rotate. I was able to do it by using a tutorial on youtube. Another challenge I overcame was getting my merge cube to not glitch when I rotated it to show the images. I did this by rotating it more slowly. In addition I overcame the challenge of  making objects bigger or smaller. I did it by asking a friend to show me the button to do so.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I animated my characters. The reason why I would change it is because there was a way to code them so they would move but I was not aware of it until after I did this project.. Also doing that would have made my project able to connect to more of the CTE programs. It also sounds like an amusing activity.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this because my project consists of Digital Multimedia. I would not take the digital multimedia class at Hastings high school because I am not interested in careers in that field.

• My project connects to careers in Augmented reality developer and designer because they design augmented reality projects. They make an average of $83,148 a year. Because of this salary I would consider becoming it as my future job.
