The tinkercad software, the 3D printer, and the imovie app.

What is your plan to create in this project?

A fake skincare bottle so my sister will stop stealing my stuff.

It will have a different language on the bottle.

Day :1

I did my planning questions and list today.

Day:6 I worked on my reflection questions this day.

• Using tinkercad, and the imovie app, I created a decoy skincare bottle because my friends and sister keep stealing my stuff. The way it works is you put things like vinegar, lime, or cinammon in it with water to make your victim break out into pimples so they will stop stealing your stuff. I also thought that it would be the most fun project out of the projects I came up with.

• During this process, I learned how to create a design using tinkercad. This will help me later in life if I become a model designer for a company and need a sample of a product. I am very happy to have been able to learn to do this.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator  because I posted everything to my website for the world to see. It also ties to Digital citizen because I did not use copyrighted images on this project. In addition it ties to Empowered learner because I made the decision about which of the projects I wanted to create.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was  figuring out what I wanted to design. I was able to do it by starting a project and just going with it. I had to work out a few kinks but it ultimately turned out ok.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the project I did. The reason why I would change it is because with the materials I was given I could not create the full sized horse heart I wanted to. I would also change the bottle by adding a cap. I would change it because I wanted to create a screw on cap but did not have enough time.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this because I engineered my project. I would not like to take this CTE program at hastings high school. 

• My project connects to careers in design engineer because they design things with 3D to test them before they mass produce them. The average salary for design engineers is $73,970 a year. I would like to find a career with a higher standard of living therefore I would not want this job.
