Play-do that makes your computer do things.

• Using the makey makey, I created an online piano because it looked fun and I like pianos. I also created a space rock adventure game because I wanted action. In addition I created a bubble pop game because I was stressed and needed to take a zen moment

• During this process, I learned about ho to connect your makey makey to earth so it actually works. I also learned that play-dough is conductive. In addition I learned the best way to stick alligator clips into play-dough.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because I posted everything on my website for the world to see. It also ties to Empowered learner because I made the decision of what to make on this project. In addition it ties to knowledge constructor because I read the FAQ page on the makey makey website to figure out what it was.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what earth was. I was able to do it by asking my friend and then when I was still confused looking at the FAQ section of the makey makey site. Another challenge I overcame was working out what I was supposed to do. I did it by asking the person next to me to show me the apps we were supposed to use.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change is the the projects I did. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to do more but ran out of time. I would also change the material I used. I would change it becuse I wanted to use tinfoil instead but decided to just do play dough.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. I would not ant to take this programm at Hastings High school. I woul not want to take it because I am not interested in careers in that field.

• My project connects to careers in Engineer because they invent things. The average salary for an engineer is 89,409 dollars. I do not want to be an engineer because it has to much math.
