Sphero is going through a cardboard maze that we created for him. He did well!
Using the Sphero, cardboard, marker, and the iPad I created a Sphero maze because I thought it would be a nice project to do and it would be hard to actually complete the maze. during this project I learned how to pilot a Sphero with ease. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because I had to work with Casey trying to film and drive the Sphero. a challenge I overcame was getting distracted, me and Casey were getting distracted by playing with the Sphero, we overcame this challenge by kicking it into high gear to get it all done with. given a chance to do this again I would do a ramp instead because it seems like a funner idea to do. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program in Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in driving, because I had to drive the Sphero through the maze.
