MAKEY MAKEY

using the makey makey, some playdough, and my computer and iPad I created a playdough scratch remote, piano and Pac-man remote because I love video games and I guess piano too. during this process I learned how to use playdough to build creative remotes. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to My project ties to innovative designer because I had to construct the remotes out of playdough and connect the alligator clips to make them work. A challenge I overcame was trying to film the project in action while working it. I was able to overcome this challenge with the help of my friends holding the iPad for me while I worked the controller. Given a chance to do this again I would do some more creative like bring in some bananas to make a banana piano or something like that because the stuff we did make were pretty basic Makey Makey projects. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hasting High School. my project connects to careers in programming or engineering.
