micro bit

using the Micro bit and the Micro bit Coding website I created a Name tag and a rock, paper, scissors game. During this process I learned how to code a micro bit to play rock, paper, scissors.The seven standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator, my projects connect to Computational Thinker because I had to Code the Micro Bit to say my name. A challenge I overcame while making these projects was trying to get the code I was putting into the micro bit to work because I couldn't figure out how to get the code to work, I was able to overcome it with some help from a friend who told me I had to but the EXE into the Micro bit. Given the chance to do this again I would make the Rock, Paper, Scissors game a little better by choosing better images to flash on the micro bit. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing, my project connects to the Computer programming CTE program in Hastings high school. my project connects to careers in programming because micro bits are something that to do things you have to code it.
