Daily Log:

Day One: I was making my list with ideas that popped into my head that I thought was cool.

Day Two: I was setting up my website and thinking of what I wanted to do.

Day Three: Jackson started to make an abandoned city map while we were still thinking about an fps.

Day Four: Jackson and I started to think that an fps isn't a good idea and started working on a space themed platformer.

Day Five: I started programing using Coblocks and created some simple challenges.

Day Six: Jackson and I finished the project and worked on our website.

Day Seven: Jackson and I took more screenshots of our game.

Day Eight: I took a video of our game while Jackson was sick.

• Using CoSpaces, I created A space themed 3-d platformer because I realized that I couldn't make an fps.

• During this process, I learned how to put a video at the end of a CoSpaces game.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I had to make the level with some cool gimmicks.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to make the character die. I was able to do it by making a huge platform under the platforms and making it so if I collide with it it restarts the scene.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the map would take to complete. The reason why I would change it is because the map feels too short.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in level design.
