My plan is to complete the four challenges from Mr. Renner and the one we decide to create.

My project will have us learn more about robots and what they can do.
Day 1
Started to get my website ready for robots.
Day 2
Started to program our first robots which was the blue one.
Day 3
Did some finishing touches to the tire throw robot. Tommorow we will start with the drawing one.
Day 4
We started to use the drawing robot and realized it is challenging to code.
Day 5
We finished the iRobot coding and made it say usa.
Day 6
I started to work on the bolt do a party bomb.
Day 7
I made the bolt do a party bomb this one was pretty easy.

We started to learn how to use the sphero mini.

We finished all the ones we needed to do so now we will make something of our own.

Started to think of an idea for our 5th project for the robots.

Using robots, ipad, and a computer, I created a party bomb, a tire throw, shapes drawn, and a 3-4 letter word drawn all with robots because it was the four challenges we needed to do. We also created a ramp for our robots. We made the ramp so robots could eventually race. This project was fun but kind of challenging to code.
During this process, I learned coding robots can be difficult but is kind of easy. I also learned that sometimes robots don't listen or just do weird things. Another thing is that coding can be easy on some robots but way harder on different ones. There were a lot of things on this project that were learning type of thing.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructer because we learned how to code robots and solve problems on the ipad. I also think this because we had to follow directions to know what we had to code. This is why I think it would be a knowledge constructer.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to code everything. I was able to do it by practicing with the codes and eventually figuring out how to do the codes. Another thing that was challenging was getting a picture and a silent video of everything. If I could somehow not of had as many pictures I think it would be better.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change our final or our 5th project the ramp. The reason why I would change it is that it was very easy. Another reason is we will get an early start on our other project. Finally, I feel like we could have done something better and cooler.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in software developer. I don't think I would be interested in this job because I am not good at coding. This is why I would not want this to be our design.
