I am working in a group with Hunter Pennington. For this project I will need hot wheel cars, a track, and clamps. And we will create a track, our track is special is because we are creating our own track.
Using a hot wheels track, I created a stunt track because it was an idea my partner came up with. During this process, I learned that if the track is too steep the car will fly off. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator My project ties to Innovative designer because we the track made the track ourselves. A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the cars not to fly off . I was able to do it by making the track less steep . Given a chance to do this again, I would make the track less complex. The reason why I would change it is because the cars couldn't finish the track . My project connects to the construction trade CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in engineering.
