Using a makey makey, I created a piano because we thought it would be fun, and it was.

During this process, I learned how to complete an electrical circuit.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I helped design the piano.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the circuit to work. I was able to do it by watching some tutorial videos.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design. The reason why I would change it is because all the wires were showing.

My project connects to the computer coding CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in engineering.
