Are you working by yourself or in a team?
In a team
What materials will you need for your project?
3D printer, tablet, computer, and tinkercad
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create a basketball hoop and a basketball
What unique qualities will your project have
It will have normal objects from tinkercad used a basketball equipment.
Using a 3D printer and tinkercad, I created basketball hoop and a basketball because me and my partner both like basketball, and me and my partner have not 3D printed anything in this class yet.
During this process, I learned how to work better with a partner and not have arguments with them.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because we designed a toy that could be used for stuff like decoration, etc.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how big to make the project so it would fit. I was able to do it by asking other people around the room that already did 3D printing the size it had to be to fit.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the rim. The reason why I would change it is it broke off while i was filming the video and I had to use paper.
