day 1, worked on my 8P3 project all day finishing it
day 2, worked on all my other missing work in this class
day 3, helped Cardale film a short video for one of his older projects
day 4, started thinking and sharing ideas of things to make
day 5, made the website and started doing the reference sheets
day 6, made a maze for the Sphero and took pictures of it
day 7, finished the reference sheets and the other things to do on the website and recorded the final video

Using wood blocks, a tablet, a Sphero, and a computer, I created a maze for a person to use a Sphero to go through because it looked fun and challenging, also that one project that I haven't done.
During this process, I learned how to navigate a Sphero better than what I could do before.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because we solved a problem with the maze that we made, for example we tested the maze with the by going through it with the Sphero and found out that the one way we set to get out wasn't big enough.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding objects to put in the maze to make it more difficult. I was able to do it by talking to my partner and coming up with creative things we saw around the room to use.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we laid the blocks down. The reason why I would change it is because every time we would hit a block while doing the maze the blocks would fall down.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in robotic engineering because I'm coding a robot to go through a maze, then testing the robot to see if it can go through the maze.
