day 1, we decided to do drones and I started my website page for drones.
day 2, learned how to fly the drones and practiced flying them.
day 3, set up the orange objects to fly through then practiced flying through them, and I started the reference sheets.
day 4, set up the orange objects and recorded my team member flying through them, also finished the first thing on the reference sheet
day 5, finishing the recording and uploading it to google drive, also working on the list of 25 things
day 6, finished the list of 25 things and uploaded the videos to the website page

Are you working by yourself or in a team?
Team
What materials will you need for your project?
Drone, tablet, orange hoops, and a computer
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to record a video of my team member flying the drone through the orange hoops.
What unique qualities will your project have
There will be two helicopter pads for the drone to land on
Using a drone, tablet, orange hoops, and a computer, I created a obstacle course for the drone to fly through and a video of the drone flying through the course because its a project I haven't done before and it seemed fun to learn how to fly the drones.
During this process, I learned how to fly that type of drone.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because we figured out how to fly a drone and also how to fly it through an obstacle course.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not having tape to hold down the helicopter pad that I printed. I was able to do it by searching for objects that could hold it down that weren't to big.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the difficulty of the part of the obstacle course where you land the drone. The reason why I would change it is because it was to hard to do, for example, it was taking to long to try and land the drone on the helicopter pad which was wasting time we could have had to work on other things other things like our website.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in drone piloting because my project involves navigating drones which a pilot does.
