DAY 1

I messed around with the characters for my Santa crashing scene

DAY 2

I figured out what layout I want with the sled and where I want Santa to be

DAY 3

I added a fire too it and began to add people who crowd around Santa

DAY 4

I am making the crowd fuller and maybe gifts that got out of the sleigh

DAY 5

I coded my Santa and sleigh to move at the same time with some help from a classmate, and I changed my idea so now he is gonna fall out of the sleigh instead of crash the sleigh

DAY 6

I coded more and made it so now Santa will fall out of the sleigh instead of crashing the sleigh and I animated the crowd so they react now when Santa falls of his sleigh

I finished my whole project my reflection and my video and now I am going to turn my project in

REFLECTION: Using Delightex Edu, a website, iPad, computer, I created VR scene where Santa falls out of his sleigh and gets stuck neck deep in snow. I created this because a lot of the Christmas stories I hear are very boring. Also because it is close to Christmas time so I wanted to make the story Christmas based.

During this process, I learned how to make a world for VR. I also learned how to code the people to move at certain times. Another thing I learned si how to make Santa move with his sleigh.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor. My project ties to this because I asked others for help and actively searched for an answer.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making Santa fall out of the sleigh. I was able to do it by asking others for help. Another way I found out how to do this is by experimenting with the coding blocks.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change when I began coding my work. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't learn how to code until later on in the project. Also because it would have made my work a lot better if I had started the coding earlier.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. I think this because in order access my project you have to be online.
My project connects to careers in videographers. I think this because I had to record my project. Another reason I think this is because I had to control the camera adn choose what I wanted in my video.
