Micro bit .movREFLECTION: Using a micro bit, iPad, and iMovie, I created a game called snap the dot. I created this because I wanted to learn how to program things. I was also curious about using micro bits in specific.
REFLECTION: Using a micro bit, iPad, and iMovie, I created a game called snap the dot. I created this because I wanted to learn how to program things. I was also curious about using micro bits in specific.
During this process, I learned how to program. I also learned how make a game while coding. Another thing I learned was how to use micro bits.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a Knowledge constructor. My project ties to Knowledge Constructer because I searched on you tube for videos to help me program the micro bit.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learned where all the blocks of code were. I was able to do it by searching up videos. I also read the directions and followed them to find the code blocks.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the second project I made. The reason why I would change it is because I did something that was not harder. I made a project that was super simple wasn't adding onto my learning.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project ties to that CTE because I am programming A micro bit using a computer.
My project connects to careers in Computer Programmer. My project ties to Computer programming because I am programming. Another reason my project ties to computer programming is because I am using a computer to program.
