Augmented Reality .movREFLECTION: Using iMovie, DelightexEdu, a merge cube, and an iPad I created a story about a group of gorillas who are upset because the humans are cutting down their forest. Since the humans are taking over the forest now the gorillas will take back the forest. I made this because I thought it would be a good story line and that people would enjoy it.

During this process, I learned how to use a merge cube. I also learned how to screen record. Another thing I learned how to do is how use DelightexEdu.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being an Empowered learner because I was making decisions in my education by learning how to use a merge cube. I also being an Empowered learner by choosing and coming up with my own story for my merge cube.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to turn my cube. I was able to do it by asking others. Another way I was able to do it was through trial and error.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the landscapes. The reason why I would change it is because they are the exact same. Another reason is It would make my story more interesting and give it more depth.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. The reason my project connects to Digital Multimedia is because I am using a lot of different medias to make this story on DelightexEdu.
My project connects to careers in media manager. My project connects to media manager because I was planning my content. Another reason my project connects to a media manager is because I created content.
