7P1.movREFLECTION: Using iMovie, I created an About Me Video because I wanted to share somethings so you could get to know me. I wanted to tell you these things I like so you have a general idea of the things I like. I also would like to show you what I do in my Innovation and Design class.
REFLECTION: Using iMovie, I created an About Me Video because I wanted to share somethings so you could get to know me. I wanted to tell you these things I like so you have a general idea of the things I like. I also would like to show you what I do in my Innovation and Design class.
During this process, I learned how to make a video on iMovie. I also learned how to edit videos. Another thing I learned was how to make a video and transfer it to a website.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being an Empowered Learner because I chose what I put on my video like the pictures or the music. Another reason my video ties to being an Empowered Learner is because I chose the texts color and placement.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to add music and edit the length of the music. I was able to do it by adding the music clicking back into music after I added the music I wanted. This was a challenge to me because I have a different version of iMovie and we did not know how to find the music.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the music on my on my video. The reason why I would change it is because I found the music but I had to leave really soon after I found it. I also was really focused on what I had to do after i left so I think my music choice was not the one I wanted to pick.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. I think it is closest to Digital Multimedia because the only way to find the video is online.
My project connects to careers in Film and Video Editing. I think this because they deal with raw footage that they put together to make the video understandable and comprehensible. I also think this because I did the same thing when making my video.
