Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team? I am working with Lola.
What materials will you need for your project? I will need a bolt, Dash, Legos, tire, Sphero mini, and iRobot
What is your plan to create in this project? My plan is to do the 4 challenges.
What unique qualities will your project have? It will have one idea that was not one of the challenges.

Code ----->
Code for Bolt Challenge --->
Code for iRobot Challenge --->
Word "her"
Code for Dash Challenge ---->
Sphere Mini Challenge
Code for Sphere Mini --->
Using, the Bolt challenge, I coded a party bomb, that had movement, a countdown, and different colors, because it made it more challenging to add them all together. Using the Dash challenge, I created a box thing that could hold a tire and coded the robot to throw the tire across the blue line, because it lets us build something while also coding a robot. Using the Sphere mini challenge, I made the sphere mini make a square, because a square was a simple shape to do. Using the iRobot challenge, I created the word, her because it was something simple to do.
During the process of the Bolt challenge, I learned how to make a party bomb. During the Dash challenge, I learned how code a robot to throw a tire. During the process of the Sphere mini, I learned how the code it, to make a square. During the process of the iRobot, I learned how to code the word, her.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to computational Thinker because when something didn't work, I had to figure what the problem was to fix it. My Project also ties to empowered learner because I had to make decisions on what to do for the creating your own robot challenge.
A challenge I overcame on the Bolt challenge was trying to figure out how to get it to do all at once. I was able to do it by trying different things before I got it. A challenge I overcame on the Dash Challenge was trying to get the tire to stay in the legos box before it threw it. I was able to do it changing the legos box so it could. A challenge I overcame on the sphere mini challenge, is getting the code right to make it a square. I was able to do it by trying intill I got the code right to make it a square. A challenge I overcame on the iRobot was getting it to make the word without doing something else. I was able to do it redoing the code intil I got it right.
Given a chance to do the Dash challenge again, I would change how far the tire went. The reason why I would change it is because the robot dropped it when it was halfway. Given a chance to do the Sphere mini challenge, I would change how many shapes we did. The reason why I would change it is because we only did one shape. Given a chance to do the iRobot again, I would change the way the word "her" looks. The reason why I would change it is because it doesn't really look like the word her.
