The first thing, I did was pick out the song. After that I took a screen record video and added it to kinemaster. Then I went to Gacha club and made the background black. Then I went back to kinemaster, and went to media and added the black background. Then I went to layer and added the song. I also had turn it invisible. I added text "Wide Awake - Katy Perry". Then I went and did the first scene. Then added it to kinemaster and added text, I did this with every scene. For the moving background, I found a image and went to ibs paint then added it to a blank page. Then added it at the top and added another at the bottom. Then I used the smudge tool. Then I saved it, went to kinemaster. When I added it to kinemaster it was sideways to I turned it back to what it was before. Then I used the start spot for when the motion starts, and the ending spot for when it goes back to the top. After this, I went to Gavha club and made the background green with the character (The character is not green). Went back to kinemaster and used chromecast and turned it on and then all the way down, so there was no green. Then I added this to the video, and turned the speed to 2.5 and then, started working more scenes.
Using Gacha club, the song wide awake by Katy Perry, and kinemaster, I created a gacha music video because I wanted to edit a video. Using ibs paint, and kinemaster, I created, a moving background because I wanted the character to like it was falling, to go with the song. Using Gacha club, I created scenes because I wanted them to match the song.
During this process, I learned how to make a character look like its falling by using a moving background. During this process, I learned how to use a green background to put it into the moving background. During this process, I learned how to try and make the scenes go with the song.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I am making something. My project ties to because Creative Communicator because i'm showing people my video on the website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the song be in the right scene. I was able to do it by making the video show the screenshot for a shorter time. A challenge I overcame on this project was coming up with scenes to go with the song. I was able to do it by trying out scenes or thinking of ideas to make a scene.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the random scenes that I added to go with the lyrics. The reason why I would change it is because some of them could be more interesting. Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many long breaks I took for it. The reason why I would change it is because It took 2 hours to just get 1 minute into it, so when I realized that, I took a break and didn't go back to it for awhile.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Animators.
