What unique qualities will your project have?
A lot of people are doing flappy bird as their game but ours will be Pac Man instead of flappy bird.
Daily Log
Day 1 - Figured out what we were going to make with our makey makey's and did our list of 10 and planning questions.
Day 2 - We started our makey makey and made the playdoh pieces
Day 3 - Finished the makey makey and connecting it to the Pac Man
Day 4 - Voting on who's makey makey is the best and did our reflection
Using makey makey, I created a play-doh controller because I thought it would be a cool idea to make something you can play games with out of play-doh.
During this process, I learned how to make the keys work so that the pac man would move.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I used the materials I had to create something cool.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to connect the buttons to the computer. I was able to do it by getting help from Rebecca.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change our idea. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like our idea was kind of boring and we could've done something more interesting.
