Makey Makey

My project consists of making a piano out of cardboard, clips and a makey makey board. Our goal was to make a normal thing and connect it with the internet.

We made a piano that actually works out of cardboard and foil and a couple of wires. Our piano plays 5 different sounds and can play the keys that you press on time.

I learned you can take everyday objects and connect them with the internet and make almost anything, we connected ours with the makey makey website and made a working piano with everyday things.

The standers my project tied to were to be an empower learner and set personal learning goals of how this can connect with future jobs. Our number 1 learning goal was to make at least a working piano.

A challenge my project overcame was agreeing with teammates on what to make with what we all like together. We made something we could all agree was pretty cool, also how to get the makey makey to actually play the piano noises.

Something I would do differently next time is get more help instead of arguing about what to do. Maybe set more learning goals, also make our piano board smaller.
