- Using bloxes board and app, I created a game that I designed using the bloxes board. I chose this design because it reminded me of other games I have played before. I decided to add a lot of coins and monsters so then it would be hard to get the coins because i like challenging games.
- During this process, I learned how to use the bloxes bored. I learned how to do this by watching videos and getting help. I also learned how to use the bloxes app by following instructions on box.
- The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I had to set personal learning goals to design my game. I also had to learn how to make the actual game by following instructions and learning through the process.
- A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the game go onto the app. I was able to do it by asking questions and following instructions on the box. I also overcame not knowing what color block meant what.
- Given a chance to do this again, I would change how i used my time. The reason why I would change it is because this project was late and i didn't use my time wisely. I would also do this because it interferes with my grade by it being late.
- This project connect to careers in game making. In this career you could use coding and certain things (like bloxes) and make games. This project also connects to careers in coding.
