8P3-"3d Printing" 

Using a computer and Tinker Cad and a computer, I created a small house because my friend wanted a miniature version of their home as a gift. The print includes a door, porch, chimney, and small plants. 

During this process, I learned how to use the online website Tinker Cad.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I built a small house.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to build the house. I was able to do it by asking classmates for help and watching tutorials. I hade to make sure my different pieces were connected to make sure they wouldn't get separated during printing. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design of the house. The reason why I would change it is because the house has a very simple design and I want to attempt a more difficult design. I would try to attempt making a car or skyscraper. I would also try to make a park using random shapes. I would also want to make different structures or maybe a milk carton. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia and business CTE programs at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in business as many people sell 3d prints for a living or as a side job.
