Covid FAQs


Access to online resources Perkins Library offers a number of online resources to support your research. To access resources off campus, simply log on using your HC credentials. Library staff and Studio 200 staff are available for remote and on-campus support during open hours. After hours questions will be answered the next working day.


Return and renew materials Materials may be returned 24/7 in the red book drop located near the entrance of the Library. There is also a book drop at the circulation desk where materials may be returned during open hours. Interlibrary loan items must be returned before the due date.


Interlibrary loans You may request books and journal articles through interlibrary loan. If you live off campus, consider borrowing items from your local library to ensure they arrive to you in a timely manner. ILL materials may be returned 24/7 in the red book drop located near the entrance of the Library or at the circulation desk during open hours.


Reference and assistance For help using the catalog, accessing online resources, or locating an item, contact Perkins Library.


IT support For iPad and technical support, contact IT Help Desk.


Studio 200 support For academic support and tutoring services, contact Studio 200.


Cleaning supplies Masks are required and are available at the entrance. There is also disinfectant spray throughout the building to clean work spaces after use, as well as sanitizer.


Perkins as a space Access is limited to students and employees. Furniture has been arranged to encourage social distancing throughout the building. Meeting rooms are available for use and may be reserved here; capacity may vary based on current health measures. The patio area is also open when the weather permits.
