Outside of Hastings College Scholarships
2026/2027 Education Quest Scholarship - Scholarship amounts vary ($500-$3,500). Applicants must demonstrate financial need as defined by the FAFSA, a resident of Nebraska and US Citizenship. Must be enrolled at least half time as an Undergraduate student. Please be sure your 2026-2027 FAFSA is filed so that your eligibility can be confirmed. Rolling deadline until all funding is awarded.
American Red Cross Leaders Save Lives Scholarship Program offering scholarships by hosting a blood drive. See link for more details.
Quell Foundation - We believe that education is the key to understanding, supporting and generating awareness of the metal health challenges that millions of people face today. Survivor Scholarship, First Responder Legacy Scholarship, Fighter Scholarship and Bridge the Gap Scholarship are scholarships the Quell foundation offer to current undergraduate/graduate students. Application submissions March 6, 2026 - March 13, 2026 only.
Kaufmann-Cumming Foundation - This $1,000 scholarship was made possible by the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. Recipient must be a legal resident of Nebraska, have financial need and must be in good academic and social standing with first priority to Hall County residents with a cumulative "B" academic average or higher. Deadline: March 27, 2026
Nebraska Society of CPA's -150 Hour scholarship offered to Accounting Majors enrolled in the 150-hour program. Must be planning to sit for the CPA exam and planning on spending the majority of your professional accounting career in Nebraska. Letters of Recommendations are also highly recommended. Please see either HCBusiness Department or Financial Aid for application. Deadline: April 10, 2026
Headway's Book Lovers Scholarship is offering a $1,500 scholarship to support students fueled by their love to reading and dedicated to advancing their education. Opening April 15, 2026 closing September 15, 2026
E-waste Scholarship by Digital Responsibility is offering a $1,000 scholarship. This scholarship helps you understand the impact of e-waste and what can be done to reduce e-waste. Deadline: April 30, 2026
American Indian College Fund - is offering scholarships from $2,000-$3,000. See site for more information. Deadline: May 31, 2026

Blankstyle Scholarship offering $1,000 with application including how t-shirts have played a role in your life and how this scholarship will help accomplish your education goals. Deadline: May 31, 2026 and second round 12/31/2026
Altruism and All Good Deeds Scholarship by NPVA is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students who participate in volunteer work and community service. Deadline: May 31, 2026
Spokeo Artificial Intelligence is offering a $5,000 scholarship to the student with the top essay of 800-1.250 words plus two letters of recommendation. Must be US citizen from any field of study. Deadline: June 25, 2026
American Association of State Troopers Dependents of State Trooper members Deadline: July 31, 2026
Michael Moody Fitness is offering a $1,500 scholarship for student pursuing a career and enrolled in the following majors: Athletic Training, Health Policy, Psychology, Biology, Kinesiology, Nursing, Personal Training, PE Teaching and Coaching, Exercise Science, Sports and Rec Management, Health Sciences or another health related major. Deadline: August 1, 2026 or the first 1,000 applications.
Red Label Abrasives is offering a $500 scholarship to a full time US citizen maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above Deadline: August 15, 2026
Quivey-Bay State Foundation - This $1,153 scholarship was made possible by the Council of Independent Nebraska Colleges Foundation. Recipient must be a legal resident of Nebraska from the Panhandle including: Banner, Box Butte, Cheyenne, Dawes, Deuel, Garden, Kimball, Morrill, Scotts Bluff, Sheridan and Sioux counties. Student must currently have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher and in good academic and social standing. Deadline: August 15, 2026
Attracting Excellence to Teaching-ST Program - This is a forgivable loan in the amount of $3,000 to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate teacher education program working toward their initial certificate to teach in Nebraska and are student teaching for the upcoming academic year. Don't Text and Drive - This $1,000 scholarship helps to understand the risks of texting while driving. Deadline: Sept 30, 2026
MManuts is pleased to offer the PRINT IT $1,000 scholarship for aspiring content creators. Deadline: January 11, 2027
TEACH grant Program provides grant funds to students that will teach full time for at least four years in a high-need field at a low income school or educational service agency.
