About the Expert
I am a business-focused lawyer, with previous experience as a management consultant focused on data science. I do a lot of work in AI, with applications in drug discovery, finance, revenue growth, medicine, content licensing and many other areas. I represented one of the first companies to do AI applied to drug discovery (ZebiAI) and did one of the largest AI for medical devices deals ever. I have written several articles on AI and have spoken on AI at schools including MIT and Cornell and at various conferences as well. I have done a lot of work on technology transactions, helping startup semiconductor companies negotiate fundamental agreements to manufacture their products or negotiate to license their intellectual property to other companies. I have helped blockchain and crypto companies, including True Tickets (which allows ticket resale with confidence) and certain crypto wallet providers. I help many clients with some of their toughest problems – and I also help clients think through the business and legal issues that they need to think through to get off the ground. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Biochemistry and Japanese and from Boston University with a JD.
