Enjet Aero Bloomfield LLC visited with the Middle School students @ Renzulli Academy to show how math concepts are used every day in a manufacturing environment in the Aerospace Industry.
Key components of airplane and helicopter engines were brought in to teach how ratio’s, decimals, measurement, fractions, and diameter are used to produce these parts at our facility.
We went over how the cost of a part is a formula including raw material, labor, and fixed cost. The students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade asked a lot of very smart questions.
