Induction candidates have to participate in five professional development workshops each year in addition to completing the program workshops Action Research Collaboratives (ARC's). These five workshops are the candidate's choice and should align with the ILP goals / focus. Below is a list of workshops offered by the Hart Induction Program and candidates can sign-up through Induction Support. Candidates can attend professional development outside of the Hart Induction program. This includes, but not limited to, conferences, online webinars, site-based PD, district-based PD, podcasts, and book studies. When attending professional development that is outside of the Hart Induction program, get the approval of your mentor to ensure it applies towards your ILP focus. All professional development is recorded on the last page of the ILP.
