The Individual Leadership Plan (ILP) is a single document that chronicles a candidate's two-year Induction journey. The ILP is broken in three parts:
Initial Inquiry Goal,
Action Research Implementation, and the
Reflection / Application.
Initial ILP Assessment (link)
Only new candidates will complete the Initial ILP to assist in developing a plan and focus for the ILP.
This section of the ILP documents where the candidate determines the area of focus, how that focus was derived, and anticipated measured of student achievement. The area for focus should be informed by, but not limited to, the candidate's transition plan, school-site focus, the self-assessment, classroom observations, conversations with your mentor, and student work.
GOALS: Determine and establish initial ILP focus and anticipated measured results.
Cells 1-4 are due for the November Milestone*
Review the Descriptors of Practice with your coach and document your results in cell 1.
RUBRIC: Develop an Action Plan that Supports the Inquiry Goal of the ILP
GOAL: Have three to four entries per Inquiry

This section of the ILP documents the ongoing implementation of new strategies that are related to the focus question. Responses should address all parts of the prompts for each cell, elaborate on claims made, and use evidence to support claims.
Reflections are completed at the end of each Inquiry Cycle.
Application is completed at the end of the Year.
This section of the ILP promotes reflection of the action research implementation and how the actions taken during this year transcends to future professional growth. The application of new ideas plants the seeds for more new ideas: Plan, Implement, Reflect, Apply.

Evidence: The Reflection / Application will reference two pieces of evidence from the Ongoing Implementation Plan that support the claims made about the application of new ideas, impact on stakeholders, and continued growth as an administrator. These pieces of evidence can be hyperlinked in the Implementation or attached to the end of the ILP.
RUBRIC: Provide responses and evidence to document candidate reflection about professional goals and development through the Induction experience.
