HTS Student Planners

Backpack folders and planners are important tools for home and school communication.  Your child will receive an HTS planner on the first day of school.  This is most likely the first time the students have ever used a planner so we will go over how to use the planners and how to record important information inside since we will use these daily. 

• • Your child's backpack folder will contain his or her homework and other important papers from myself or the HTS staff and community. 

  • Your child's planner contains his or her homework assignments and important reminders for upcoming events. 

Students are responsible for recording their homework assignments in their planner each morning. 

 3rd Grade Homework

Your child will occasionally bring home math homework that will be torn out of his/her math homework book.  Your child will also be expected to complete twenty minutes of reading each night.  At times, the reading material may be assigned from a story that we may be reading together.  All of the information such as upcoming tests, items needed in school, etc. will be recorded in the planners.
