Birthday Celebrations

Your child may bring a class treat the day of the birthday celebration.  Each child will be celebrated the day of his/her birthday unless the birthday falls on a weekend.  We can plan for the Friday before or Monday after.  We will also celebrate summer birthday friends on their half birthdays.  As of now, any type of birthday treat is welcome but please avoid sending in cookie cake or anything that has to be cut and distributed.  Napkins, utensils, and plates are always appreciated when they are needed, depending on the treat.  Your child may also wish to bring in non-edible items for the class such as birthday pencils, erasers, or small party favors.

Our classroom birthday celebrations are usually held during our afternoon snack time, at the beginning of last period (around 2:15).

If you are dropping off birthday treats, please make sure they arrive at the Main Office no later than 9:30 AM (we have lunch at 10:30 AM) for a morning celebration, or by 1:30 p.m. for an afternoon celebration. Your child can bring treats in when he/she arrives in the morning, too.
