All About Mrs. Rivera

Hello Third Graders!  I am so happy that I get to spend your third grade year with you!  Third grade is amazing!  You will learn so much!  

I graduated from Ramapo College of NJ in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology.  I have been teaching since 2005 and have been a part of the HTS team since 2009.  I have taught preschool, kindergarten, third grade, and fifth grade in a few different schools in NJ but am happy to call HTS my home away from home.  

I live with my husband, our 3 daughters and our sweet and silly dog, Molly.  For fun, I enjoy photography, exercising, decorating, and playing with my daughters.  

My favorite subjects to teach are reading and writing.  I love watching my students grow as writers.
