NOTE: This is a VERY basic overview of the stage lights. Complex light shows will need to be done by seasoned techs who have spent time with a light system or this light system.
Turning on and off
Make sure the two switches just behind the desk are depressed to the right side. So the left side is popping out.
If using the small board, turn it on the power in the back.
NOTE: Board turns out in Blackout (see blue light)
Simple board operation
There are simple scenes set up for Open Stage Night such Scene 1: spot on stage right, Scene 2: spot on center stage, Scene 3: spot on stage left, and Scene 4: full stage. You can also go up one bank for more options. Changing anything as noted below may affect what the scene does.
Get the light manuals from the box below the desk to see the function for each light. Note that the fixtures are labeled. To manipulate a fixture, push the button of that fixture and then adjust the faders based on the manual. Note that you have to turn off fixtures and move faders back to 0 before moving to the next fixture.
For instance, to get white light with the pars you could turn on the first 3 fixtures, turn up 1, 2, 3, and 4 (the colors) and then turn up 8 (the dimmer).
To turn on the eves just turn on fixtures 4 through 6 and then turn up fader 1.
To turn on the mover, turn on fixture 7, turn fader 12 up all the way, turn fader up to desired brightness, use 1 and 3 faders to move the position.
To turn on the disco light, turn on fixture 8, then turn up fader 1.
