SAT

Scholastic Aptitude Test ("SAT")

The SAT is an aptitude test created to determine college performance and is an admissions requirement for many Colleges and Universities. The SAT has 2 parts: Reading, Writing and Language & Math.  Scores range between 400 – 1600. The test typically takes 3 hours and 50 minutes with the SAT Essay or 3 hours without the essay. The cost of SAT is $55.

When registering for the SAT and/or ACT, it is important to select up to 4 colleges to receive your scores directly.  These are free when registering for the test; however, you will be charged an additional fee if you request your test scores to be sent to colleges after you have taken the test.

Students receiving free and reduced lunch should see their counselor to receive a fee waiver form to register for the SAT and/or ACT tests.
