Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness solution that helps districts and schools align student strengths and interests to post-secondary goals, improving student outcomes and connecting learning to life. Students will be utilizing Naviance to explore college and career interests, conduct post-secondary research, and request documents for college applications.
All high school students have a Naviance account. Students can easily access Naviance by clicking on the orange "H" in the corner of their browser and using Clever to log in.
Hanover students will begin using Naviance in the 9th grade. School Counselors will teach lessons throughout the year. Students should log into their accounts frequently and complete additional post-secondary research on their own.
Great question! Check out the 'how-to' videos below for more information. If you have additional questions after viewing the videos, please contact your Professional School Counselor.
You will not apply to colleges through Naviance. You may submit your college applications through CommonApp, or directly to the institution. Naviance is a way for Hanover High School to send your high school transcript and teacher letters of recommendation. Naviance is a central hub for you to track the submission status of your college application materials.
Hanover will not be submitting any documents through CommonApp. We will only be submitting documents through Naviance. You will need to link your CommonApp and Naviance accounts. This is super easy! Please watch the "Common App Matching" video below for detailed instructions. Once you have linked your accounts, Hanover will submit your documents through Naviance.
