Books/Course Materials
Order Books for my class
Hamline students participate in a rental program where they do not pay individually for each of the required books/textbooks. Faculty are expected to send their book adoptions to the store by email (hubookstore@hamline.edu). Book orders are usually due about mid-term the semester prior to courses actually running (for spring, for instance, book orders are due roughly in mid-October). The bookstore ALWAYS welcomes earlier orders, and appreciates communication in regards to book updates, reuse, etc. The bookstore does not provide desk copies. You can request desk copies directly from publishers.
Order Course Packets for my class
Hamline University policy requires that all students, staff, and faculty observe applicable copyright laws.

Make Copies of Course Materials
Hamline computers (maybe the one in your office) should automatically be linked to the digital imager close to your office. It is useful to investigate which one it is. The more useful way of printing might be to send your documents to mobileprint@hamline.edu. Then you can use any of the digital imagers on campus - and your ID card should allow you to use the machines and to pay from your department's account. For larger printing/copying jobs (generally anything sizable, say, more than 5 copies of a document), you can request copying services from PiperXpress by emailing PiperXpress@hamline.edu. Your department chair will provide you with an account number to use. PiperXpress is located on the ground floor of Sorin, next to the Post Office. You can pick up your order there nearly immediately after submitting it, or have it delivered (with some delay) to your mailbox.

Accessing your Class Roster (via Workday - View Course Section Roster)
Keys for Offices, Classrooms, and Buildings are requested through the form submitted to the Public Safety (Sorin West entrance). You will need a signature from the cost center manager (department chair) and information on what access you need. Electronic access to some of the buildings could be added to your ID card.
For all registration and records needs (requesting a new classroom or an Active Learning Classroom, reserving seats, finding final exam schedule, and much more) - visit Registration and Records Academic Scheduling page.
