Meet the counseling staff

All students are assigned counselors based on their last name. Students will stay with their counselor throughout their four years at Hamilton High School.

Mrs. Hasbrook has been an educator for the past 30 years. She started as a kindergarten teacher for six years at Milwaukee Public Schools and came to the Hamilton School District in 1994 as a middle school counselor. Currently Mrs. Hasbrook is the district's AOD support counselor, the Hamilton Connects program coordinator and a school counselor for students whose last name begins with an A through C.

Mrs. Hasbrook and her husband have four children. She enjoys biking, running, swimming, camping and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Geracie is our newest member of the Hamilton Student Services Department and has loads of experience counseling at both Ladd Lake and Menomonee Falls High School. Mrs. Geracie and her husband have seven-year-old twin girls who she loves to spend time with outside of work. She has a passion for helping students progress through high school and focuses on utilizing all the learning experiences in and out of the classroom to help mold them for the next stage of their life after high school.

Mr. Johnson is in his 24th year as a counselor at Hamilton High School. He loves that every day brings new challenges and rewards, and really enjoys getting to know students from freshman year and seeing them through their high school years as they grow and mature into adulthood.

Outside of school, Mr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He loves golfing, camping, hunting, fishing, sports, etc.

Mrs. Rigg has been with the Hamilton District since 2006 and worked at West Allis Central High School for four years prior to starting here. She loves working with students and is inspired by helping them. She believes that working as a team with parents, teachers and students is the best approach when solving a problem. Mrs. Rigg and her husband have three children who keep her very busy! She also enjoys photography, traveling, reading, scrap booking and spending time with her big family and friends.
