Looking to earn college credit while still in high school? Consider partnering your Senior Year at HHS with WCTC’s Dual Enrollment Academy. You can earn credits while exploring high-demand fields, including:
Building Construction trades-Electrical Apprenticeship Emphasis
Pre-Nursing Program *this is a TWO year commitment starting Junior year
This program involves spending the majority of your school day, both fall and spring semesters, at WCTC. You will take your required communication arts credit and an additional elective here at Hamilton. Students are required to provide their own safety equipment (e.g. shoes or goggles), school supplies and transportation to and from campus. After successfully completing the program, student's earn a WCTC certificate or diploma along with high school credits.
The Dual Enrollment Academy helps ease the transition from high school to post-secondary education, giving students insight into college academics and a jump start on apprenticeship programs. This initiative also gives business and industry access to a pipeline of new, well-trained talent.

Eligibility: To be eligible for WCTC's Dual Enrollment Academy, you must apply during your junior year of high school for participation senior year. You must also:
Have a minimum 2.0 GPA or letter of recommendation from your counselor.
Be in good academic standing in high school.
Have your school’s and parent/guardian’s approval.
Acknowledge and sign the FERPA statement.
Meet WCTC entrance requirements.
January 27, 2026 OR February 3, 2026: Information Night, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
February (exact date TBD), 2026: Deadline to submit the Dual Enrollment Academy Application to Student Services
April 2026: Decision notification letter sent to high school and students
July/August : Dual Enrollment Academy Orientation (attendance mandatory)
August 26, 2026: First day of class
