What's on this week in Room 11?

Tuhituhi/Writing: We are thinking about sentences. What is a simple sentence and a compound sentence?

Pānui/Reading: We are reading Harley Hitch and the Iron Forest as a class and responding with a new set of creative tasks

Pangarau/Maths: We are learning multiplication and division and working on understanding and memorising our times tables.

Pūtaiao/Science: We are continuing to learn about sound and creating some soundscapes and sound makers ourselves

Mahi toi/art: Drawing a face, we have practiced drawing Edie's face, now we will practice on each other ( we are getting better every week!)

Te reo Māori: We are asking 'Ke te pēhea koe?' (How are you?) and responding

All this as well as...Te reo with Ruma 3 and Kapa Haka, EPro8 groups, Paepae and practicing our pepeha with no prompts
