Principal's Message: The school year is well underway. First quarter report cards will go home on October 12th. Outstanding teaching and learning are going on each day here at Lula. School safety is also a priority here at Lula, and we are practicing all of our safety drills throughout each school month.
Looking forward to book fair week and Trunk or Treat at the end of October. Have a Bootiful October!!

Mensaje del director: El año escolar ya está en marcha. Las boletas de calificaciones del primer trimestre se enviarán a casa el 12 de octubre. Aquí en Lula se imparten enseñanzas y aprendizajes excepcionales todos los días. La seguridad escolar también es una prioridad aquí en Lula y practicamos todos nuestros simulacros de seguridad durante cada mes escolar.

October 20- Glow for Literacy dance party during specials/Fiesta de baile Glow for Literacy durante las ofertas especiales

October 26- We hope you will join us for our Annual Title one Meeting on October 26th at 10am, and if you can’t make the 10am we will have an additional meeting at 5pm. This year the 10:00am will be on zoom and a link will be sent out via remind closer to the date. The 5pm meeting will be in person in the gym. We hope you will all join us so that we can discuss all the wonderful things happening at Lula Elementary! Please remember our car line ends at 7:45 each day. The first bell rings at 7:50 to start the school day. If arriving after 7:45, you must park and walk your child into school. If your child checks in after 7:50, they are tardy. In addition, they miss instructional time when they are late. Please be on time so that your child does not miss valuable learning here at school. Recuerde que nuestra fila de automóviles termina a las 7:45 todos los días. La primera campana suena a las 7:50 para iniciar la jornada escolar. Happy Halloween- Vote for your favorite pumpkin sponsored by our 5th grade. Bring a quarter and vote for your favorite! All proceeds are going to the Humane Society. Vote- October 23th-27th. Fall In Love with a good Book! Come check out the fall book fair this year! It will be open Thursday October 26th during our Trunk or Treat Event until 7:30pm. The book fair will be open Friday October 27th through November 2nd from 8:00 to 2:00pm. On Friday November 3rd it will be open from 8:00 to 12:00pm. Fall in Love with a good book and visit the book fair 😊 ¡Enamórate de un buen libro! ¡Ven a ver la feria del libro de otoño de este año! Estará abierto el jueves 26 de octubre durante nuestro evento Trunk or Treat hasta las 7:30 p.m. La feria del libro estará abierta del viernes 27 de octubre al 2 de noviembre de 8:00 a 2:00 p.m. El viernes 3 de noviembre estará abierto de 8:00 a 12:00 horas. Thank you to all who participated in our fall fundraiser! We raised about $9,000 to help fund our ArtsNow/Literacy initiative and resources for each classroom!
