  • Masks are optional.

  • MakerSpace Lab... coming soon to CMCSI! Classes will visit our MakerSpace Lab to create, discover and explore!

  • Warrior Workshop is our new Specials Class replacing Computer Lab (since all students now have Chromebooks in Hall County Schools). Mrs. Alma Mora will be teaching Warrior Workshop focusing on our Warrior Way, Service-Learning Activities & SEAD (Social- Emotional- Academic Development).

  • Mr. Richard Bass will be joining our Administration Team in the front office (along with teaching SEARCH part-time). You can contact Mr. Bass at richard.bass@hallco.org

  • The waiver that allowed the Hall County School District to serve meals to students at no cost has expired. Therefore, the district will resume taking applications for free and reduced-price meals for the 2022-2023 school year. Please visit here for access to the application. More details below!

Visitors & Volunteers

VISITORS:

  • For the safety of students, staff, and families, elementary schools in Hall County will not be allowing parents or guardians to walk students to classrooms with the exception of the first and second day of school on Friday, August 5th and Monday, August 8th. We will have staff members available each day to ensure students get to their classroom safely.

  • We are excited to be able to invite parents and guardians back to have lunch with their child this year! All elementary schools in the district will begin having visitors for lunch beginning Tuesday, September 6th. Please be patient with us as we work out the logistics. A lunch reservation will be required due to minimal seating. More information coming soon!

  • This year, CMCSI will again welcome visitors for conferences, meetings, awards days, performances, special events, etc!

  • For the safety of our students & staff, all visitors will be asked to check-in at the front office, wear a visitor badge, and show state-issued ID for each visit.

VOLUNTEERS:

  • Are you interested in becoming a volunteer in your child's classroom or volunteering at some of CMCSI's special events? If so, complete this form for PTO and they'll be in touch!

  • Again this year, we will have volunteers in our school and ask that volunteers schedule with teachers/ staff in advance so that instruction of students is not interrupted.

  • Volunteers are required to complete Mandated Reporter Training and a background questionnaire prior to volunteering. More information will be sent to parents/ guardians soon.

  • We are excited that each homeroom will once again have a Room Parent, which will be organized by our PTO Board. You can volunteer to be your child's Room Parent here.

  • For the safety of our students & staff, all volunteers will be asked to check-in at the front office, wear a visitor badge, and show state-issued ID for each visit.

Student Arrival & Dismissal

Arrival: 7:15-7:40 am

  • For the safety of our students and staff, during morning drop-off for car-riders, all parents must remain in their car and go through the car-rider line. With the exception of the first two days of school and new students registering during the year, there will be no parking, walking students into school or to the front door, or sending students across the crosswalk. Please plan accordingly, and arrive early enough to go through the car-rider line.

  • Our tardy bell rings at 7:45 am each morning.

  • If students are late, parents will use the outdoor camera/ call button. Students will be walked in by a staff member after notifying our front office using our intercom system.

  • Please have your child exit your car from the PASSENGER SIDE each day, for their safety.

  • Bus Information (Drop-off/ Pick-up times) can be accessed via Parent Portal as well. Directions are here. If you need assistance with your Parent Portal account, click here.

Dismissal: 2:20- 2:45 pm

  • Bus riders will begin loading buses at 2:20 each day.

  • Bus Information (Drop-off/ Pick-up times) can be accessed via Parent Portal as well. Directions are here. If you need assistance with your Parent Portal account, click here.

  • Car Riders will begin at 2:20 each day and ends at 2:45. Please remember to have your child's car rider tag visible in your car each day. For the safety of our students, if there is no car rider tag visible, you may be asked to park and will be moved to the back of the line. Without a car rider tag, parents must have ID to pick up a student, and due to the additional time it takes to check ID, your pick-up will be delayed. If you need additional car rider tags or a tag replaced, email cmcsi@hallco.org

  • Please have your child enter your car from the PASSENGER SIDE each day, for their safety.

  • Please do NOT change lanes in the car rider line. We are staging students in the order your car rider number is recorded, so changing lanes causes delays and confusion for others. THANK YOU for your help with this.

  • Daycare buses will load once school buses have pulled away.

  • If your child is attending YMCA Afterschool, you can sign up and find information here. Students must register IN ADVANCE to attend YMCA .

  • During the year, please try not to check out your child early, as our teachers are maximizing the time for instruction daily. If your child has an appointment and must be checked out early, parents will use the outdoor camera/ call button. Parents or anyone checking out a student, will still need their state-issued photo ID to do so EVERY TIME, in order to keep students safe.

  • All check-outs must be completed by 2:00pm.

Cafeteria Information
