Narrative

Our narrative unit will consist of our writers going through the writing process of planning, drafting, revising, editing and sharing.

Students will come up with many possible topics/ideas of small moments, they could potentially write about. Many of these stories will never get finished. The thinking behind this is to have the students brainstorm many possible topics rather than starting and finishing the first one they begin.

In the end, they will be choosing one of these many possible stories to take completely through the writing process with.
