Prototype

After Discovery, the team moved into the Prototype phase of the HackIT Agile Lifecycle. The purpose of this phase was to generate prototypes that could be tested by users and honed iteratively into an improved deliverable.

End of Phase Checklist

We checked progress at the end of the Prototype phase:

1. Evidence of what our users need, and we can justify key features and design decisions based on this evidence - yes
2. A team with a shared understanding of what needs to be done in the next phase reporting to an empowered Product Owner with sufficient time to make in-flight decisions - yes
3. A solution architecture, including the plan for hosting, infrastructure and application support and data security - yes
4. A take-up plan and plan for what to do if the service is unavailable - yes
5. Realistic targets for the performance of the service - yes
6. Developed a clear product roadmap which has the support of senior stakeholders - yes
