Learning Intention: Students will use their 5 senses to add more descriptive words to their writing.
Using popcorn, students used their 5 senses to describe it before they got to eat it. They then looked at different pictures and made a sentence stronger by adding adjectives. For example; "The cat is sleeping" to "The cute, fluffy cat is sleeing."

Learning Intention: Students will add numbers within 20.
Students learned multiple different games in order to enhance their learning of adding numbers within 20.
Go Fish Addition: Instead of making pairs that match, students try to make pairs that add to 10!
Add it up: Using a game board, students try to create an addition sentence. They colour those numbers in and the last one who can make an addition sentence on the board wins!

Learning intention: Students learn the differences between goods and services.
Students made a list of things that are goods and that are services. They watched videos and looked at pictures to organize their ideas before putting them on paper.
