Now I will present our first step in how we start the idea of building a connection between us and elderly by using the collages that we made. The purpose of these collages is to make sure that these grandparents remember their past memories. Then we decided to pick these images that were deeply signified within.

“Workshop”
On the day of the workshop, we went to the Zuozhen mountain for meeting the elderly to represent everything we prepared already. To ensure that grandparents have a great deal of fun with us. So for the each group, we will be talking to one elderly person. So in term of us, our grandmother, her personality is a little shy to talk, so in the beginning was a little challenge for us to open the heart of the grandmother. But after a certain time, we begin to show more about the collages that we have prepared for them. Then everything starts to turn better. In the collages that she has interested, starts to make her tell the story of her past memory. Then we also had a lot fun after she shared about her story.

And these pictures are the process of us when we're doing the collage ideas, For the collage ideas, it wasn’t easily like seeing just a picture with random questions, We did a lot of thinking and discussion to make sure that our idea for the purpose that we want, which is making the elderly people have more feelings to our collages.
